Here's a quick journal to say sorry for not being online recently or temporarily put my stories on hold. It's just the last month as been utter "Hell"
1. Still looking for work, but my job coach (the only bit that did go well for me) went over my CV with me and helped me improve it greatly. Had more job interviews in this month than I have had in the past 8 years.
2. Got a job last week. On the 3rd day I went to my job coach for advice as the cob centre were, again unhelpful. Then found out the place I worked were breaking the law by under paying their workers (me included) and when I said what the hourly pay was the whole place went silent. Then my job pretending to be looking for work phoned them up and queried the hourly pay, which they confirmed to be under national minimum wage, with someone else reporting them.
"I get to report some one. He he"
This did actually make me laugh. Her expression was exactly like that icon I used.
3. And finally this is the main reason I kept off line and caused me many sleepless nights and might even take a little longer to get over it.
My parents went on holiday and I was there on my own. Just finished printing off some CV for the morning. Then I remembered I hadn't check a PS2 game that my friend was looking for which I bought him. While I was checking that, I heard my Brother come in and at 1:30am?! Any way, he popped round to get some peppercorns as he had finished work late and saw that he had ran out.
Coming up the stairs to say hi, he suddenly blacked out (even now, our doctor still can't figure out why) and fell down the stair. Luckily my dad's rolled up carpet which was propped up by the wall cushioned his fall.
At first I thought "Phew. Luckily that carpet was there"... then I saw the blood. On the floor and his hoodie. By the time I got the phone and called 999 and went back to the landing he was having a fit or seizure and sounded like he was having trouble breathing, which sounded like a mix of a dog growling and someone gargling, which was making me start to panic big time by this point, but the phone operator talked me through what to do and managed to calm me down, while she sent out a quick response unit.
After 5 minutes my brother started to come around again and he actually tried to leave and go home, but there was no way I was letting that happen and had to order him to stay put (I sounded like my mum when I said that to him)
Soon after that the paramedic arrived who then called up for ambulance to take him to Margate to get him checked over as his head injury did look bad, but luckily it only looked bad.
And that's that. Sorry it I went overboard with this journal. I just needed to get all this of my chest. It might still be a few week until I feel 100% me again. I've started writing to get my mind off it, hopefully I will start drawing in the future again. I also started making Saturdays "Me time" and going to Westgate cinema every Sat to their early morning kid showing. The Croods is awesome by the way
